Kitchen Destruction Through Construction Sequences (2005-09-10)

This is my favorite part. Here are three different "before/after" sequences - with many stages in between. You can see just how things evolved over time. Of course, nothings really done yet, so I'll be adding more pictures to these sequences later. Enjoy!

First up is the "Hall Sequence". Here are a set of shots taken from the front door, looking into the house. The pictures are:

1. Before any destruction - before we even started the living room
2. After the living room was done, before kitchen destruction started
3. After the main kitchen-destruction-weekend event
4. After the final destruction - done at the start of the construction weekend
5. After the side-beam was constructed and installed
6. After the joists were all in place
7. After the sub-floor was installed

Next, we have the North-East corner sequence. These pictures are taken from the West side of the living room looking towards the hallway to the "new" house. The pictures are:

1. Just Before the living-room destruction began
2. After living room construction finished, before kitchen destruction
3. The middle of the first day of kitchen destruction - the wall comes down! (see another angle of that glorious even on the kitchen destruction page)
4. The end of the first day of kitchen destruction - all done but the floor
5. The end of the first weekend of kitchen construction - all the joists are in
6. The end of the last day of kitchen construction - sub-floor is in

Now, finally, for the main event! Be prepared for information overload! I took a set of four pictures of the floor - looking at the NE, SE, SW, and NW corners of the floor respectively (from left to right below) after every major point in the kitchen destruction and construction process. Below are the 8 sets I took. At 4 pictures a piece that's 32 pictures! They wouldn't fit very well on this page, so I shrunk the set down to thumbnail sized.
