Note: (October 17, 2005) Originally Archos was calling the PMA400 the "AV500" but later dropped the name presumably because it was significantly different from the rest of the AV line. Recently Archos has announced a new product called the "AV500" which is an extension of the AV line that is approximatly the size of the AV400, has a very nice wide-screen LCD and has the new interface first introduced in the AV700 (at much larger unit).
